It’s amazing how this pandemic can show the best and the worst in all of us. On the one hand,  every day at 9 pm people all over the country show their gratitude to health personnel clapping their hands from balconies, windows and doorsteps, as a warm sign of gratitude. On the other hand, some doctors and nurses have been openly rejected by their neighbors, who are afraid of the possibility that those who are on the frontline of the fight against coronavirus, might spread it in their buildings. Unbelievable, isn’t it? What if one of those “complainers” falls ill, goes to a hospital and is examined by one of those “pariahs”, a doctor or nurse previously humiliated in a note asking him or her not to use the elevator or the common facilities? It would be ironical, wouldn’t it? It would certainly serve them right.
