Latin America is clearly on fire.  Literally speaking (environmental tragedy in the Amazon rainforest), and metaphorically too. Venezuela, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Perú, Brazil. No country escapes from this political turmoil. In the meantime, in Argentina, we seem to be at a standstill, waiting, hanging, kicking it, while prices go on rising (petrol, food, clothes, etc) and our “peso” keeps losing value. Maybe we should also advance Christmas, following in Nicolás Maduro’s steps, so that we can afford our traditional family dinner and even buy some quiet fireworks, so as not to stress pets and little kids. In this context, I guess Macri must feel relieved and a bit less disappointed . I don’t think he´d like to be in Alberto’s shoes. Now it’ his turn to fix this huge mess.
